GAME GUIDE

Everything you need to know about entering the RetroDoge world — game modes, earning tokens, staking, withdrawing, and climbing the leaderboard. Use the sidebar to jump to any topic.

ENTERING THE WORLD OF RETRODOGE

You can access RetroDoge in two ways: download the native desktop client for macOS or Windows, or play instantly in your browser via itch.io or rtdoge.shop/play. No installation is required for the browser version — just open the link and you are in.

macOS — download the .dmg installer from the official site.
Windows — download the .exe installer from the official site.
Browser — visit itch.io or rtdoge.shop/play and play with no download required.

PASSING THE RETRO AUTHENTICATION

When you launch the game you will see two fields: a username and a password. There are two cases depending on whether you have played before.

Existing Account

If you have played before, enter the exact same username and password you used previously. Your progress, coins, and stats will be restored automatically.

New Account

If this is your first time, simply choose any username and password you like. Your account is created instantly — no email or wallet required at this step. Use the same credentials every time you log in to keep your progress.

Important: There is no password-reset flow at this time. Store your credentials somewhere safe — if you lose them you will not be able to recover your account or your earned tokens.

ENDLESS RUNNER

After logging in you will see two game modes. Select Endless Runner and the game begins immediately. You are dropped into a procedurally generated map filled with obstacles and coins. The longer you survive and the more coins you collect, the higher your score.

Each in-game coin collected is worth 2,000 RETRODOGE on-chain tokens.
Difficulty scales over time — obstacles appear more frequently as you progress.
Your score is submitted to both the daily and weekly leaderboards automatically.
Staking RETRODOGE tokens increases the number of coins that appear in your run. See the Staking section for the full multiplier table.

Tip: 开始游戏 a few warm-up runs before going for your leaderboard score. Getting familiar with the obstacle patterns early will help you survive much longer.

STORY MODE

Story mode lets you explore the full RetroDoge world across multiple hand-crafted maps. To unlock story mode you must stake a minimum of 1,000,000 RETRODOGE tokens. Once staked, the mode is available every time you log in while your stake is active.

Why play story mode?

Story mode pays 2x the reward of endless runner. While each coin in endless runner converts to 2,000 RETRODOGE, every coin you collect in story mode is worth 4,000 RETRODOGE on-chain. 探索 more, earn more.

Note: Story mode does not have its own leaderboard. Rankings are tracked for endless runner only.

STORY MODE MAP UPDATES

Story mode maps are refreshed every week. Updates may increase difficulty, add new areas, or introduce extra coins to collect. This keeps the experience fresh and ensures players can continue earning competitive rewards week after week.

DAILY LEADERBOARD

The daily leaderboard resets every 24 hours. It ranks endless runner players by their highest score for that day. The team sets a custom RETRODOGE prize pool each day, distributed to the top 5–10 finishers.

WEEKLY LEADERBOARD

The weekly leaderboard resets every Monday. It rewards the top 5–10 endless runner players with a weekly RETRODOGE prize pool. Maintaining a top-10 position requires consistent play throughout the week — a single great run is rarely enough.

Tip: 开始游戏 multiple sessions across the week rather than one marathon session. Consistent top scores hold rankings better than a single outlier run.

RETRO STAKING

Staking RETRODOGE tokens provides two benefits: it unlocks story mode and it multiplies the number of coins that appear in your endless runner sessions.

Story Mode Access

质押 a minimum of 1,000,000 RETRODOGE to unlock story mode. Those tokens must remain staked for story mode to stay active.

Coin Multiplier

The more tokens you stake, the more in-game coins appear during endless runner. Two players running the same map for five minutes will collect very different amounts based on their stake level.

开始游戏er B — 2,000,000 tokens staked (1.5x): collects roughly 15 coins in the same window.

Note: APR on staking pools is variable and updated periodically by the team. Check the staking page for the current rates before committing tokens.

RETRO WORLD WITHDRAW MECHANISM

You can convert your in-game coins to RETRODOGE on-chain tokens at any time through the portal. The conversion is instant — tokens are sent directly to your connected BSC 钱包.

1 in-game coin (endless runner) = 2,000 RETRODOGE
1 in-game coin (story mode) = 4,000 RETRODOGE
Withdrawals are sent instantly to your connected BSC 钱包.

Step-by-step

Go to retrodoge.com/portal.
Connect your BSC 钱包.
Enter the same username and password you use in the game.
You will see your available in-game coin balance.
Click "Withdraw to 钱包", enter the amount, and confirm the transaction in BSC 钱包.
Your RETRODOGE tokens will arrive in your wallet instantly.

HOW TO STAKE IN RETRO WORLD

Staking is done through the dedicated staking page at retrodoge.com/stake. Choose from three locking periods — each offers a different APR that the team updates over time.

3 Days

Short lock, lower APR. Good for getting started with staking.

7 Days

Medium lock, moderate APR. The most popular option.

14 Days

Longest lock, highest APR for maximum returns.

Step-by-step

Go to retrodoge.com/stake.
Connect your BSC 钱包.
Log in with the same username and password you use in the game.
Select a staking pool (3-day, 7-day, or 14-day lock).
Enter the amount of RETRODOGE tokens you want to stake.
Click "质押" and confirm the transaction in BSC 钱包.
Your tokens are locked for the selected period. When you next log into the game you will see your multiplier displayed (e.g. 1.5x, 2x).

Important: Tokens are locked for the full staking period and cannot be withdrawn early. Plan your stake amount and duration carefully.
